| Automated has provided die and calibration systems for the extrusion of foamed or cellular products. These projects employed either PVC, HDPE, PS, HMWPE or CPVC as the base material along with endothermic, exothermic and combinations of these chemical blowing agents to provide the cellular structure. Other additive such as colorants, UV stabilizers, and fillers such as talc were also used. Automated employs several different types of die designs including variations of the celuka concept utilizing a mandrel, as well as modified free-foam methods that do not utilize a mandrel. |
