WOOD COMPOSITE PROFILES

Automated has provided tooling for the extrusion of plastic composite materials including wood (WPC) and other bio-fibers. PVC, HDPE, and PP are commonly utilized with other additives including blowing agents to create cellular or foamed products. Automated can provide composite tooling in two main configurations: calibrated/pulled, and non-calibrated/pushed. Capping of PVC based composite extrusions with both PVC and ASA has been successfully accomplished as well.
